The Zip Stocker for AMR is Gyro’s newest innovative storage solution and a key component in next-generation semiconductor automation. As a compact, high-performance storage system, it enables highly efficient and flexible material management in modern wafer fabs and significantly improves automation and production flow efficiency.
The Zip Stocker supports a wide range of carrier types, including 8-inch SMIF pods, 12-inch FOUPs, and 8-inch/12-inch metal cassettes. Despite its compact footprint, it provides exceptionally high storage density and optimal space utilization.
With a capacity of 28, 36, or 44 slots, the system is designed for advanced wafer storage applications and delivers a high throughput of up to UPH 60, ensuring stable and continuous material supply for automated production environments.
Engineered for 24-hour continuous operation, the Zip Stocker can be equipped with an MR auto-charging stand, enabling uninterrupted operation without downtime. A robust safety concept with a dual MR port design featuring light curtain protection and a manual port with automatic door safety design ensures safe and reliable operation at all times.
System integration is seamless via SECS E88 communication, supported by an integrated stock controller, enabling full connectivity to modern factory automation systems. In addition, the system offers high operational flexibility, allowing easy relocation and adaptation according to changing production line requirements.
For demanding semiconductor environments, the Zip Stocker is also N₂ purge compatible, ensuring stable environmental conditions and making it ideally suited for contamination-sensitive processes.
